Server-Side Encryption & Identity Verification
All Sharescape documents are persisted using Server-Side Encryption with Amazon S3-Managed Keys and protected by identity verification. This ensures the party requesting PHI has been authorized to do so — no exceptions.
TLS Encryption In Transit
All communication between Sharescape services and connecting clients is encrypted over the wire with industry-standard TLS. Data in motion is never exposed in plain text at any point in the request lifecycle.
VPC-Isolated Databases
All Sharescape databases are isolated in a Virtual Private Cloud, preventing unauthorized connections from ever reaching your data. No database is directly reachable from the public internet.
Comprehensive Audit Logging
100% of Sharescape API requests are logged, including header information, requested fields, whether or not those fields are resolved, the requesting user, IP address, and more. This gives our team the ability to query all activity on the platform — providing insight on user experience and visibility into any suspicious activity.
